Adonai gave Shlomo wisdom, as he had promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Shlomo — the two of them formed an alliance together.

The Lord gave Solomon wisdom as he promised him. So there was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a covenant.

And Hashem gave Sh’lomo chochmah, just as He promised him; and there was shalom between Chiram and Sh’lomo; and they had a brit (treaty, a political alliance), the two of them.
